Michigan's Lower Peninsula 7-Stop Adventure Guide

Regular price $9.00 USD
Regular price $17.00 USD Sale price $9.00 USD

Michigan is like two states in one, with each landmass separated by the Straits of Mackinac. To the north is the Upper Peninsula, referred to by many as the “U-P.” Some folks also call it the "Upper Hand."

This guide explores the Lower Peninsula, also known as 'the Mitten."

You can easily spot its mitten shape on the map. Most of this guide follows the coast of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan, with a little bit of Lake Erie down near Detroit.

You are in for a HUGE adventure.

While some of our guides are designed to explore an area in 7 days, this one can take an entire summer to see it all.

Each section has places that beckon you to stop and stay a little longer.

We chose to start in Detroit and travel north up the “Thumb” region, but you can pick and choose any section you want to begin your adventure.

Each stop in the guide could be a separate trip taken over many months or even years.

Each Stop in our Guide gives you at least 3 places to camp while exploring the area!

Jennifer and I hope you enjoyed this trip as much as we continue to do.

Both of us are Michigan natives. And although we travel across North America, we have a special affinity for our home state.

We urge you to take your time touring "the Mitten." Enjoy the clean air and clear skies. Marvel at the sunsets and sunrises.

The state is particularly well suited for RV adventurers and the Michigan State Park system is one of the nation's best. But don't forget the beauty of boondocking. State forests abound, most offering rustic and dispersed off-the-grid camping.

Thanks for purchasing this 89-page ebook travel guide. We’d love to hear your thoughts and impressions!
